Eleven Labs

Eleven labs is an AI text to speech tool. This is a great tool for having text read aloud. You simply enter your text, and then choose a voice from a wide variety of styles, tones, and moods (for example timid, strong). It even has different languages, and can automatically translate text for you.

I use it to narrate videos. I will write a script for it to read, then download the file (mp3) and upload it to a video project. The quality is great, it sounds like a professional narrator. Sure, if you listen carefully, you can tell its AI, but even then it is impressive.

Currently there is a paywall to access all the narrations and full features. A free trial includes narration of up to 10,000 characters a month. After that, you have to pay, but its reasonable ($5/month, first month only $1). I will probably upgrade from the free subscription once my trial ends.
